How to Ship Your Hard Drive

Contact Aver Drivetronics and we will give you additional instructions on how to address your shipment. Please note that Hard Disk Drives are sensitive electromagnetic devices that require great attention and can receive additional damage if certain precautionary measures are not taken.

• Contact us via Fax, E-mail, or telephone (760) 568-4351 to receive a price estimate (min and max) and RMA number.
• Please place your drive In an ESD safe bag or wrapping to prevent Static Electrical damage.
• Please SECURE and SURROUND your drive in two (2) or more inches of foam rubber, loose fill, or in the original drive shipping box.
• For MFM, RLL, and ESDI drives, we ask that you include the controller card in an ESD safe bag.
